How do “Consulting Styles” influence treatment outcomes?

By nature we each have our default style of consulting. One that will work with a number of clients.
But there can be times when you either lose clients or they frustrate you by their non compliance with treatment.
In this short course I look at the three styles of consulting and when you might need to adjust to ensure better treatment outcomes.

After working as a sports physiotherapist for over 30 years I have come to the conclusion that how patients deal with and recover from their injuries or illness is influenced by 2 important things:

  1. The connection between the clinician and the patient
  2. How the patient is mentally handling the situation they find themselves in

Since finishing my career as a clinician due to arthritis in my hands I have made it my passion to transform the way clinicians deal with even their most challenging clients so that outcomes are dramatically improved for everyone concerned.
